Ground-up development since 1986.
For 40 years, RKR Incorporated has developed commercial real estate from the ground up, turning raw land into centers that people use every day. Most of that work has been retail, and our specialty is what decides whether a center succeeds: tenant mix and site design.
RKR’s first project was in Santa Clarita, California, in 1986. Over the following decades, the company built much of that city’s commercial core as it grew into the third-largest city in Los Angeles County. Along the way, RKR has worked with institutional partners including MetLife, Cornerstone, Grosvenor Realty, and Newhall Land and Farming. In four decades, RKR has never failed to close an escrow and has completed every project it started.
Recent work includes CloudNine, a private luxury hangar campus at Camarillo Airport completed in 2023.
Today, RKR is based in Georgetown, Texas, bringing that experience to the growth of Central Texas, including The Crossings, a mixed-use shopping, lodging, and entertainment destination planned for the Georgetown–Leander corridor.

CEO
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in political science, Ronald Rasak received his broker's license from the State of California Department of Real Estate and went to work as a mortgage loan broker. In 1986, he established his own company, RKR Incorporated, a pioneering development firm renowned for its vision, innovation and dedication to excellence. Ron believes wholeheartedly in his company's commitment to remaining involved in every step of the development process, design, finance, construction, property management, and leasing. Over the past three decades, Ron has fostered the consistent growth of countless successful projects on the commercial and residential levels, from shopping centers to work spaces to private homes and beyond.
RKR is devoted to thinking creatively, and eager to conquer new challenges. The company’s success can be largely attributed to their vigilant study and thorough understanding of market conditions and economic trends, as well as their laser-like focus on emerging markets to maximize opportunity. These direct, strategic methods result in consistently successful projects that elevate the quality of life for all.

Executive Assistant
Melissa Rasak brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, from concierge services at various local chains to the plush Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica, CA and the SIXTY Hotel in Beverly Hills. Raised in Calabasas, her deep knowledge of LA and incredible eye for detail has served her clientele well - never a request too small or too large. Most recently, Melissa was a leader in the logistics department at a luxury fashion company. With a background in real estate, Melissa joins RKR as an Executive Assistant.
